The transmedial photographic portrait in the research context
DIRECTION OF VIEW and MULTIPERSPECTIVITY
Transition from pandemic to post-pandemic
The book project is an image- and text-orientated reflection on the genre of the photographic portrait with works by students of the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. The book was curated and designed by participants of the project module PORTRAIT SETTINGS under the direction of Prof Dr Birgit Wudtke. As part of the course, doctoral students were involved with presentations and portfolio reviews, as were external authors. The presentations were based on individual research and texts, which were summarised in this publication. An extensive design workshop with the design and photography team kela-mo from Berlin also took place during the course. Our thanks go to Paula Hohengarten and Moritz Zeller: kela-mo.com. We would also like to thank Kenneth Friend for his professional support with the translation.
